Information we collect

When you apply for a role: your name, email, WhatsApp number, city, CV, links you share (such as portfolio, LinkedIn or GitHub), your answers to the application questions, and the date you agreed to this policy.

When a company sends a hiring request: the contact person's name and work email, the company name and website, and the details of the role.

For security: a one-way coded version (hash) of your IP address, used only to prevent spam and abuse. We do not store the IP address itself.

How we use it

• To evaluate candidates for roles, including interviews and the reference check.
• To share a candidate's profile with hiring companies, as the candidate agrees to when applying.
• To contact companies about their hiring requests.
• To keep the website safe and prevent spam.

We do not sell your information, and we never charge candidates any fee.

Who we share it with

• Hiring companies, when we put a candidate forward for a role.
• Service providers that run this website for us: Supabase (database and file storage), Vercel (hosting) and, when switched on, Resend (email notifications).
• Authorities, if the law requires it.

How we protect it

CVs are stored in private storage and are never available through public links. Only our team can see applications, through a password-protected dashboard.

How long we keep it

We keep applications for up to [number] months so we can consider candidates for future roles, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. [To be confirmed.]

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email contact@wasla-hire.com (or WhatsApp +20 127 399 0259) and we will reply as soon as possible. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under laws such as the GDPR.

Cookies

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our team's dashboard uses essential cookies to keep the team logged in.
